Renewal Weekend

Repent, then, and turn to God, so that your sins may be wiped out, that times of refreshing may come from the Lord. Acts 3:19

Our pastor began praying and desiring to set aside a special time for our church, with specific goals in mind:

  • A fresh encounter with God, personally and as a body of believers
  • Deeper unity and fellowship in our church
  • Brokenness over sin in our lives
  • Renewed commitment to the Great Commission

Renewal Weekend was created out of this desire for each person at Wilmer to experience renewal from God. RW2018 will be Friday, March 9th through Sunday, March 11th. We will have a series of events throughout the weekend, each one designed to draw believers closer together, to challenge you to go deeper into your relationship with God and with your church. Our Scripture focus will be in the book of Nehemiah, and our guest speaker will be Dr. Jay Robertson from Crawford Baptist Church.
